In the measurement, only by clamping a single wire in the circuit being measured will get the current.When holding the wire, in order to minimize the displacement error always place the conductor at the center of the clamping head.
"+"is carved on the KT7193's clamp(lower right side),this physically means in measuring DC current if "-"shows on the LCD,the DC current's direction is
opposite from the current being measured by clamping which should be outflowing.
If "-"does not show, the current flowing through the clamp's direction is same as being measured by clamping which should be inflowing.
This is quite useful in identifying DC current's direction, especially helpful in identifying the DC generator's spinning direction.
User should be sure of understanding the full content of the user manual before using.
